Happiest Days Happenings

The process for bringing the 2016 College Production of 'The Happiest Days of Your Life' is well under way with rehearsals occurring twice a week. The cast are already beginning to learn lines and are working on both the challenging text and their delivery of the highly comedic material. Props and Costumes are being sourced and our Senior Students are doing a fantastic job in these early stages as part of their lead crew roles.

OFFICIAL PRODUCTION POSTER
Below is a work in progress version of what is going to be the official poster artwork design for the production. The poster has been designed by Year 10 student Darrell Chiu.

CAST DEVELOPMENTS
Due to student movements, we are delighted to welcome two students to the production cast for 2016. Chloe Ryan (Year 10) will be stepping into the role of Mrs Peck and John Paul Botha (Year 9) will be doubling the role of Rainbow with current cast member Adam Boyd (Year 9).

BEHIND THE SCENES
This year, the behind the scenes footage will be done from a cast/crew perspective. Each week (starting next week), you will be given an insight into all things 'Happiest Days' and be able to enjoy an interview with a different cast and crew member each week. Stay tuned to this blog!

TICKETS
Tickets for the three public performances (Thursday 16, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 June) will go on sale next term. Tickets will sell fast so make sure you get in early once tickets are on sale!

STAFFING
I would like to express a huge thank you to core staff members Miss Jackie Collender and Miss Edel Maher for their hard work on the show so far. Their commitment and enthusiasm has been wonderful and much appreciated.

Mr Chris McRae
Production Director
